I’m a Florida Supreme Court–Certified Circuit Civil and Appellate Mediator and an arbitrator on the Employment and Consumer Arbitration Panels of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). I mediate exclusively with Mediate First, Inc., and serve clients throughout Florida in both English and Spanish.

I bring nearly three decades of legal experience to every mediation and arbitration I conduct. Whether resolving complex commercial matters or emotionally charged personal disputes, I strive to create a respectful, neutral, and results-oriented environment—so that parties can move forward with clarity and confidence.

I am also certified as a district mediator for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and hold an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell—the highest peer-reviewed rating for legal ability and ethical standards among attorneys.

I spent 11 years at The Walt Disney Company’s Parks and Resorts segment, where I litigated personal injury claims, commercial disputes, and employment matters. I also served as Disney’s subject matter expert on employment law for its Florida operations, including Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Vacation Club.

Earlier in my career, I served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, where I represented the United States and its agencies in high-dollar, high-stakes litigation in federal courts. I first-chaired multiple civil trials and argued appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal and Ninth Circuits.

As an attorney for the U.S. Navy, I worked as a civil trial attorney, criminal prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and in-house counsel—bringing a uniquely balanced and practical perspective to mediation and arbitration.

I’ve served in the U.S. Armed Forces since 1989 and currently hold the rank of Captain (O-6) in the U.S. Navy Reserve. My military service has shaped my approach to dispute resolution—instilling discipline, focus, and a mission-oriented mindset that I bring to every case.
